March collective haul
I've been having fun at the sales, as you can see.
Recently, I discovered you can order some beauty products on discount on Amazon, and since then I've had to make a new wishlist to keep track of... well, everything. I was a little concerned, especially when the orders were not fulfilled by Amazon itself, but the resellers have all been really good about sending the stuff on time and I'm really happy, y'all! Obviously, we've got the Korres Citrus Body Milk, which I've been mentioning left and right because it's so good, but I've also ordered this little journal from Peter Pauper Press (actually, I ordered it from a reseller to get a discount. Eh.) It's smaller than my Hummingbird journal, but since I love Gustav Klimt, I think it's worth it.
The Body Shop were also running lots of promos, and since I was in the market for a mineral foundation, I figured I'd give theirs a go, and I got the slanted kabuki brush to go with it. It's my first dabble in mineral make-up, so I'll keep you posted on that, but so far, it looks really interesting. I also got a pot of their peppermint intensive foot treatment, because... well, I don't really need a justification because it's my feet, but I also train barefoot a lot, which means I ought to look after my toes and soles. And since it was the sales, I paid half as much as I would have for those products, so a win all around.
I also stepped into Boots because I'm low on my favourite Herbal Essences Shampoo, and it's probably bad practice of me as a blogger to not try anything else, but when it comes to my hair, I'm a pitbull - if I find something I like, I stick to it, come hell and high water. In addition to that, I got a shower gel from Original source, and a new stick lip balm, because I'm out of my Yves Rocher ones, and I don't know about you, but I hate to carry pots on the go. (I mean, seriously. It feels unsanitary.) And, you guessed it, 2/3rds of these products were 50% off. Heyo!
Finally, and this is probably the thing I'm most excited about - Feel Unique had a 25% offer on Tanya Burr lips and nails and... well, I had to pick those up, I've been lusting after them for months! My only hang-on was the fact that I couldn't find them live to swatch, because let's face it, the Internet can be a deceptive place, and even in pictures, light can play tricks. These two particular shades were slightly different "in person" than on the website, but having tried them, I absolutely adore them, and I just think they're amazing.. Full review to come.
Aaaaaand now I feel like I need to apologize to my bank account... >.<
