Review: Lush's Grease Lightening

Oh, dear, I must be falling out of Lush - I'm running out of products of theirs to review!

I guess it was inevitable - saturation and everything, though I am kinda sad I haven't had something new from them that has truly wow-ed me. Maybe I need to make a trip to one of their stores again?

Grease Lightning is their spot treatment, which I've heard so much about and which I was very excited to get. But... well...

Okay, good stuff first - like most Lush products, it's cruelty free and vegan. It comes in this neat little tube with a pump, which dispenses a little too much product for one spot, but two pumps are enough for an overall face lotion, which you can use it as. Actually, I prefer to use it as a face lotion because it dries up to a very unattractive finish, and it's good to follow up with moisturiser.

Unfortunately, I've never felt like this particular product has done me much good, on breakouts or in general. Perhaps I've been using REALLY good stuff lately, but this just doesn't make the cut.

I feel like I've exhausted my Lush favourites - lately, whatever I've been getting from them has been disappointing in one way or another. (Also, small aside: I really hate their new website design. I imagine they were going for sleek and modern, but to me, it just looks messy and it's impossible to navigate. Some product categories are missing, making it impossible for me to find what I need without resorting to the search tab, which I really, really don't like.)

Available online and in stores.
