April favourites

Lotta favourites this month, so I'm just gonna jump straight in.

Tanya Burr lipglosses in "Picnic in the Park" and "First Date" - I thought that this would be it in my review, and so it is. I absolutely adore how these look, feel, smell... everything. Absolutely everything. And in case you don't want to spend money on shipping costs, these are now in Superdrug, so you have absolutely no excuse not to try them out.

Revlon Super Lustrous lipstick in "Kiss Me Coral" - I love essiebutton for introducing me to this formula. A rather old release, this gets negated to the very bottom of the lipstick racks at Boots, which is a damn shame because sometimes you miss out on great stuff that way. "Kiss Me Coral" is a perfect spring/summer shade for me, a bold lipstick that's not too bold, and a orange which looks neither unnatural nor unflattering. Win.

Maybelline Super Lustrous lipstick in "Coffee Craze" and Colour Tattoo in "Pink Gold" - Finally jumped on the bandwagon with those ones. Loving them. Full review coming soon.

L'Oreal Miss Manga mascara in "Tropical Violet" - I hate how gimmicky the marketing for this is. The only thing I hate more is myself for falling for it. That said, I love the effect of this product, and the best part is, it doesn't flake or smudge once on. I'm really glad for it.

The Body Shop Extra Virgin Minerals powder foundation and kabuki brush - This and one more product are easily to blame for the very good skin days I've been enjoying this month. Absolutely loving it, even though it's a pain in the arse to put on.

Organic Surge Volume Boost conditioner - I'd have never tried this had it not been on sale in my local store. That said, it was on sale, and it was so good, I went ahead and got a Moisture Boost shampoo and conditioner to try out once I run out (because what's the point of sales if not to convert sheep like moi, n'est-ce pas?) Seriously, everyone's been like: "I love what you've done with your hair" ever since I started using it, never mind it hadn't been cut in two months and I had done a sloppy job cutting my fringe. Miracle worker, that.

Kris D'Amour body balm - With the weather warming up and Easter over-indulgence, I got bit by the running bug one time too many. And this balm I got in my Souk Souk beauty box has been an absolute lifesaver for blistered feet.

First Aid Beauty Cleanser - This one's thanks to Ingrid from Miss Glamorazzi. I didn't think much of it, but it's a super gentle cleanser that has helped minimise breakouts more.

OPI The Muppets Most Wanted nail lacquers - Full review upcoming (with PICTURES! So many pictures!) I love the colours, and I love how they look, even if it takes 3 coats in some cases to reach a matte shade.

Lindsey Stirling, "Lindsey Stirling" - I love Lindsey's music, and I'm totally getting "Shatter Me", but her debut tunes have kept me sane throughout the deadline hell this month. Can't wait to hear her new album.

Tea and Almond Milk - Is it a monthly favourites without tea? This time, I have not one, but two blends - Tesco's Finest Vanilla Chai and The Tea Emporium's "Roobois Snowbound", both of which are delicious, especially with a splash of almond milk. (Amy from Amy Loves recommended it as an alternative to cow's milk, which is, unfortunately, not very healthy. Everything's good in moderation, but given my tendency to drink copious amounts of tea and coffee, I figure it's a good time to switch.)

*Phew* That was a long one. Anything familiar for you on this list? What did you love this month?
