Going along with the theme of magazine freebies from yesterday, I picked up this trio of Aromatherapy Associates minis with an old issue of Marie Claire last month, partly because I was curious, partly because I was travelling to Stockholm and didn't want to haul all my lotions and potions with me.
I have to say, the freebies impressed me more than the magazine itself, but that's neither here nor there. (It doesn't help I'd signed up to get a free issue after an add on SaveTheStudent, and STILL haven't received anything.) Of course, with a brand as well-established in the beauty world, there are certain standards they have to live up to.
Out of the three, I'd say the face cleanser and the moisturiser were the items that got the most workout during the trip, for obvious reasons, and I love them both to bits. They smell divine, and they leave my skin feeling super fresh and supple. (It's the kind of performance that you expect comes with a hefty price tag, which is more of a compliment than a complaint - at least they're delivering on what they sell.)
I haven't had a chance to use the face mask much, but from what I've tried, it's quite nice as well.
Definitely a brand that knows its stuff, but quite outside of my budget range.
